User Testing lets businesses pay real people to try their website and share feedback. Approved testers claim a test, follow the steps, and submit a recorded walkthrough. Payment is held in escrow and released when the business approves the work.
How to become a tester
Click User Testing in the top menu.
Do a short sample test on any local business website (e.g. booking an appointment, finding contact details, etc.)
Fill in the Website URL, your Walkthrough Video Link (Loom, YouTube, Google Drive or similar) and your Description of Findings.
Click Submit Application. Our team reviews it, usually within 24 hours.
Once you're approved, click Go to Testing Marketplace to see open tests.
How to complete a test
In the Testing Marketplace, find a test that suits you. You can filter by device and pay.
Click to View & Claim a spot.
Follow the instructions and record your screen while you talk through your thoughts.
Submit your video link and notes before the countdown ends.
You get paid once the business approves your submission.
How to hire testers
In your Command Center, go to Growth → User Testing and click Create New Test.
Write your test, or use Ask Lara to Write It and fill it in for you.
Add a title, step-by-step instructions and the deliverables you want from each tester.
Choose how many testers you need (1–50) and how much to pay each one (minimum $5).
Click Preview Campaign, then Confirm & Pay. You can pay by card, PayPal or Wallet balance.
Review submissions on your User Testing page. Approving a submission releases that tester's payment.
