Sharing logins, financial details, or an unreleased product with a freelancer?
You can add a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to your order at checkout!
It's an extra layer of protection for the confidential project information you share with the freelancer.
An NDA is a simple agreement: the freelancer agrees not to share your information with anyone and to use it only for your order.
For Customers: How to Add an NDA
1. Add the service to your cart and click Proceed to Checkout.
2. At the top of the Payment Options page, find Add a Non-Disclosure Agreement ($4.99).
3. Click View the NDA if you want to read it first.
4. Tick the box to add it. This means you agree to the NDA and its terms. You'll see $4.99 added to your order summary.
5. Choose your payment method and click Confirm & Pay, then submit your requirements as usual.
For Freelancers: What to Do
1. Open the order and go to the requirements.
2. You'll see a banner asking you to accept the NDA.
3. Read the agreement and accept it to unlock the customer's requirements.
4. Once you accept, you can download your copy of the NDA.
5. Start working on the order as normal.
What Each Side Sees
- Customer: the NDA option at checkout, then a download button for the signed copy once the freelancer accepts.
- Freelancer: a banner on the order asking them to accept the NDA before seeing the requirements, then a download button for their copy.
The downloaded copy shows that the freelancer agreed to the NDA and when they agreed:
Tips
- Customers: add the NDA before you share anything sensitive. It can only be added at checkout.
- Freelancers: accept the NDA quickly so you can see the requirements and start on time.
