The IPR Watcher feature allows users to track trademark activities and automatically notify clients and vendors about any updates or changes. Here's a quick guide on how to manage this feature effectively.
Accessing the Trademark Details Page
Navigate to the Self Section and click on any trademark you are currently tracking.
This will take you to the Details Page, where you can view all relevant information about the selected trademark.
Adding Watchers
On the top right corner of the Details Page, you will see three dots (⋮). Click on these dots to open a dropdown menu.
Select the option Edit Watchers.
Once selected, the Add Watcher button will appear. This allows you to add a new watcher, such as a client or vendor, who will receive updates on the trademark.
Entering Watcher Information
After clicking Add Watcher, a form will appear asking for the name and email ID of the person you want to add as a watcher.
Fill in the appropriate details and click Submit.
Watcher Notifications
Once a watcher has been added, they will automatically start receiving notifications for the following:
Status changes in the trademark application.
Any new documents fetched by the tool related to the trademark.
These alerts are crucial for keeping both clients and vendors informed in real time, ensuring they are always up-to-date with any developments.
Staying Informed via the Daily IP Digest
The added watchers will receive a daily summary via the Daily IP Digest email, which consolidates all relevant updates into a single report.
This digest helps users stay on top of any important changes, ensuring seamless communication with vendors and clients at every stage.
By using the IPR Watcher feature, you ensure that all relevant parties are consistently informed about any changes, improving transparency and streamlining trademark management
