Why We Have Policies

Our policies make sure that every piece of content on Leland+ reflects the same quality and integrity that defines our coaching community. They protect your intellectual property, ensure compliance with copyright law, and maintain a consistent experience for customers.

Copyright and Ownership

You own the content you create; Leland hosts it.
You may include a small copyright notice or subtle watermark (e.g., © 2025 A. Smith).
Content must be original and cannot be available for free elsewhere.
No outside branding, links, or promotions are permitted.
Leland reserves the right to remove material that doesn’t meet standards.

Using Third-Party Ideas Responsibly

You can reference public frameworks or research, but always add your own structure and insights. Avoid copying or lightly rewording content from prep platforms, firms, or books. When in doubt, rewrite from scratch, add new data and examples, and credit the source appropriately.

Payout Overview

50% of monthly Leland+ revenue goes into a shared coach pool.
Your earnings are based on time spent on your content.
Payouts are released monthly, shortly after a month ends (for example, October earnings are paid at the beginning of November).

Content Quality Expectations

We reserve the right to remove content for these reasons:

Inaccurate, disorganized, and non-actionable information
Unclear objectives for each video, PDF, or template
Non-specific, non-relevant examples
Low production value: low quality video, poor lighting and sound, illegible PDFs, poorly-formatted templates
Incomplete redaction of PII in examples
AI-generated content

Prohibited Content

Misinformation or unverifiable claims
Copyright violations or unlicensed materials
Publicly available content reposted from the internet
Inappropriate, hateful, or discriminatory material
External branding or competitor promotion
PII shared without consent

Submitting and Review

Upload content through your Coach Portal’s Leland+ tab.
Every submission is reviewed for quality and compliance. You may receive feedback or requests for edits before it goes live.

Category and Beta Hubs

Some categories are fully launched, while others are in beta. Beta hubs have smaller audiences, so payouts may start lower, but contributions there help us launch new categories faster and expand your reach.
