There are two places to connect: Leland Community, the feed at joinleland.com/home where you post for clients and other experts, and the Leland Expert Slack, where we share announcements and experts swap tips. Support requests go through a support ticket, not either of these.
How do I post in Leland Community?
Open joinleland.com/home and use the composer at the top. You can write a regular post or a longer article, and both can include photos.
To schedule a post, pick a time in the composer. Times are in your own timezone. To see your scheduled posts, click the calendar icon in the composer.
Topics follow Leland's categories (for example MBA or Consulting). Custom hashtags aren't supported.
Repurposing your LinkedIn posts is fine. Shorter, specific posts tend to do best.
Where do I find my published posts and their stats?
Your published posts show up in the Activity tab on your profile. To see how a post is doing, open it and click the stats bar below the like and comment buttons.
Who sees my posts?
The feed shows posts from people someone follows, plus recommended posts based on their interests, so people who don't follow you yet can still find you. Posts go live right away; there's no approval step. Clients who find you through Community count as standard leads, not referrals.
What is the Expert Slack for?
#general: announcements from the Leland team
#product-ideas-and-updates: product releases and your feature ideas
#intros: introduce yourself
#tips: advice on growing your coaching business
#go-places: share your wins
#new-client-opportunities: client leads from Leland
Category channels like #mba, #management-consulting and #law-school
Your Slack invite comes in your welcome emails. If you can't find it, submit a support ticket and we'll send a new one. See Expert Slack Best Practices for community guidelines.
Where do I go for help?
We're phasing out the #leland-support Slack channel. For anything specific to your account or a client, submit a support ticket so the right person sees it and it doesn't get lost.
