Request a change via Teamwork

How to request product updates, rate changes, new print forms etc.

Step 1

Do not send an email to an individual Simpology staff member

Instead, log into Teamwork (https://simpology.teamwork.com/)

You will be taken to your project Overview tab

Step 2

Click on Messages

You will see a list of active Messages that Simpology is working on

Step 3

Click on 'Add a Message'

You will be presented with a new screen to enter your request

Step 4

Give your request a subject heading and then add your comments/explanation

Step 5

Attach your relevant document/s

Click on 'Attach a File' and then 'Add Files'

Back on the Message you will see your attached files

You can now select an appropriate Category for each
(eg: Product for rate changes, Serviceability for new calcs, Dataset for field changes)

Step 6

Ensure the appropriate people get notified about your request

Click on 'Select People'

Always select all people in Simpology Au as well as all people in Simpology Ro - ensure that they each have a green tick next to their name

Then click Update


Back on the Message, you will now see all the people who will be notified

Step 7

Select the appropriate Category for the Message

In this instance we would select 'Products' since we are doing a rate change. 

Step 8

Click Post Message

Your request will now appear on the Messages tab

Simpology will be notified and you will also be notified once work has commenced/finished

Please keep an eye out for email notifications on your Message. We may require further information, or for you to test the change prior to pushing into PROD.

Teamwork is our project management tool where we provide full visibility of work being conducted on your guidebook. Use it to your advantage and ensure all your requests are created as Messages in Teamwork. 

NB: Emails to Simpology individuals, requesting updates and changes will no longer be accepted. Teamwork ensures all staff are notified and your request will be actioned in the most timely/efficient way.
