Overview

There are 2 steps to setup broker credentials in Loanapp.

1. You need to set up the broker's brokerage (their company).

2. Then inside the brokerage, you can setup users linked to the brokerage (ie the broker)

NB: Brokerages MUST be set up before Brokers.

Step-by-Step Instructions

If you have questions about the best solution for you, please contact support and we will be happy to help.

Set up a Brokerage:

Step 1

Log into your Loanapp.

Select the Brokerage tab on the right.

Then select Create New, from the far-left.

Step 2

A pop up screen will appear. Fill in the relevant fields.

Notice that certain fields are mandatory, such as the ACN, External Reference Number and Post Code. For external reference number, please use a number you use in your own systems to identify brokerages. If you dont do this - please make up any reference number (perhaps accreditation number of one of the brokers belonging to the brokerage).

When all the correct information is entered, select the blue Create button, bottom right.

The Brokerage has now been created in the list.

Find the new brokerage (you may need to use the search function), and double click on it to re-open it. You will be taken to the new profile page of the brokerage. Click Users in the top left corner:

In Users, click "Create Broker"

This will then popup a screen to complete your new broker's details. You will have to complete the mandatory (red) fields at a minimum, please see definitions and examples below:
