TAMA Supporting Documents section has some clever functionality that allows you to 'edit' supporting documents as you view them - redact or highlight sections, make comment or add post-its.

The Edit functionality is available in both the Supporting Documents, and Decision Support functions - and both work in the same manner. The Edit functionality is Supporting Documents is made available when you drag a document to "View or Edit":

The Edit functionality in Decision Support is made available when you select a document in the checklist Document set, making the document fully visible in the right column:

NOTE: the edit functionality will only work on a PDF document. If you drag a file of another type to 'view or edit', the system will recognise that it needs to be converted to PDF, and allow you to re-save as a PDF. Here I have uoloaded a jpg - and the system is automatically suggesting a PDF file name to re-save the file:

Refresh the screen, and drag the newly created PDF to "View and Edit":

Note that you can expand the View and Edit screen by clicking the icon in the top right corner:

The Edit functionality is controlled by the functions along the top, and down the left of the document. Click the PENCIL on the left to open the editing functionality.

Thumbnails

This icon displays thumbnails of all the pages in a document for easy display and navigation to other pages.

Annotation Editor

Note that you can edit or delete the sticky note at any time:

Free Text

You can also add free text to the document with similar functionality. Click the free text icon, then click on the document where you want to add the comment. Use the side panel to add all the detail, and press OK:

Draw a square/highlight section:

You can draw a square around an area of the document, and set notes/ownership of note:

Redact:

You can use the redact items on the document, name the owner of the redactor, add comment:

Delete or Save Annotations:

You can delete your annotations at any time by clicking the trashcan icon:

If you are happy with your annotations, you click SAVE when ready to save a new version of the document:

Reviewing Annotations:

You will note that if you return to the new document, and hit the Annotate icon (pencil) the annotations on the document will be listed on the side:

You can re-visit any of these annotations by expanding the selection, reviewing the details and settings. (Note the selection will also expand automatically if you click on the annotation on the document itself):
