The Columbus ecosystem has integration with Equifax IDMatrix to return electronic verification of your applicants.

Electronic ID verification is an optional service you can use in your application submission.

There is some specific data you must have already entered into your Loanapp application to be able to send off a request. This data is your applicant's name, Date of Birth, Residency, an ID document (best is Passport or Driver's Licence); and address. You must also have selected YES to two elements in the "other details" page, which give consent for the electronic check:

When you are ready, you can trigger the ID check by going to the FILE Tab:

And selecting Identity Verification, and clicking Send Request:

You will have a verification screen popup, where you can check the data that will be sent to IDMatrix. It's important this data is correct as this is the data that will be checked against the government databases. IF you aren't happy with the data, go back into Loanapp and make any necessary changes. If you are, click Send Request:

The request will be sent (will take less than a minute):

And with a successful ID verification, you will get a response letting you know the check is completed and successful:

Close down the popup, and your applicant will be electronically verified:
