Participants are important - they define application access and visibility, whether they can get info requests, and more.

To manage the participants on an application, you need to go to click the pencil on your application to go to the Manage Application screen:

The bottom half of the screen is the 'participants' section.

It's important to ensure everyone you want to be involved in the app is a participant; and this dictates who you are able to send info requests to, who is able to see/work on the app, etc.

Automatically added participants

There are a few parties that are automatically added as participants on the application - the broker, and the applicants.

The Applicant details (including their email etc, will be visible on the screen.

The broker's details will not be onscreen - these details are managed in your contacts section.

It's important these emails are correct as they will be the emails that 1) define a person's login credentials and 2) are the emails used in info requests.

If you have to alter any email details, you will need to manage in contacts.

Adding participants

You many wish to add more participants above those automatically added. To do so, click Add:

In the select participant dropdown, you can choose a participant type:

To find out more about managing participant types, click here.

Then for each participant type, you can choose a person of that type. Each of these contacts will have to have been added in your contacts, and given this 'type' to be in this dropdown:

Once a party has been added, they can have visibility, participate in the application.

Allocations will auto-add to participants

Note that if you allocate an application to a team member in the Applications screen, this will automatically add that party as a participant.
