How the auto-allocation of Action items works and how to re-assign the owner of an Action item when necessary

Auto-Allocation of Action items

Action processes and items are configured to be auto-allocated to a specific team.

The auto-allocation engine will allocate a whole process or individual items, based on the configuration to the user within that team with the lowest workload.

To see who an Action item is allocated to:

  1. Click on the 3 dots on the right of the Action item's row

  2. Click "Show detail"

  3. The action item will open and you will be able to see the Nominated person, or say "I'll do it"

Re-allocating an Action item

The owner of the Action item can be changed (i.e. someone is off sick, on leave etc.) at anytime. Users with permissions to be able to re-allocate Action items can do so by:

  1. Clicking "Edit"

  2. Using the drop downs to assing the Action item to the new owner
