How to Set Up Bailie Ai

Bailie AI is your new AI agent. It communicates with your tenants on your behalf through WhatsApp. This article walks you through setting up Bailie for the landlord (or any team member) and inviting your tenants to connect.

Set up the landlord

These steps also apply to team members.

  1. Go to the Bailie section.
    ​

  2. In the pop-up screen, you’ll see an overview of the general steps to set up Bailie. Click Continue.
    ​

  3. Enter your phone number to integrate Bailie with your WhatsApp. You’ll receive an OTP code to verify your number.
    ​

  4. Choose the team member who will control Bailie, then click Continue.
    ​

  5. Choose how to proceed: you can connect your tenants now, or continue without connecting. You can connect your tenants at any time later.
    ​

Set up the tenant

  1. Go to the Bailie section.
    ​

  2. Click the Connected tenants tab.
    ​

  3. Find the tenant you’d like to invite.

  4. Invite them in one of two ways:

    • By email: send the invite link directly to the tenant’s email.

    • By link: click the three dots next to the tenant and select Copy invite link, then share it through WhatsApp, text message, or any other channel.

      Good to know

      Once a tenant is connected, they can chat with Bailie and ask it questions. Bailie is not authorized to make decisions. When a decision is needed, it will ask for the landlord’s approval before continuing.
