Before you begin: You must have people management permissions.
How to Reset Passwords
On the People tab, select the user whose password you want to reset. From the user's overview page, select Reset Password, then select Resend Welcome Email. This option will appear for uses who have never logged in previously and will resend the Welcome Email prompting them to login to their newly created account.
If a user has logged in previously you will see the option to Email Instructions or Create Password.
For Email Instructions, the user will receive an email that prompts them to Reset your password.
Once they select Reset your password from their email, they will be taken to a screen to set a New Password and Confirm Password. Once the new password is confirmed they will be logged into their account.
To create a new password for a user you will want to select Reset Password and then Create Password.
From there you will be prompted to enter a New Password and Confirm Password for the user and then select Change Password. You will then need to manually send your user their updated password outside of Seismic Learning.
Once the user logs in with the created password, they will be prompted to confirm the Current Password and then create a New Password and Confirm Password.
Passwords must be at least 10 characters long, 5 of which must be unique, and they cannot incorporate aspects of the user's name or email address.
