What is a Skillset Observation?
Skill Observations are intended to be an assessment based on observable real-world work.
For example, this could include:
A manager is observing a sales rep on a call with a prospect.
A quality assurance agent reviewing a ticket.
A team lead doing a call review.
A manager reviewing a learner's presentation.
During the observation, the admin, manager, or evaluator can observe how the user performed in real-time, and rate their overall skill level.
Admin Point of View - How to Complete a Skillset Observation
To create a Skillset Observation Assessment, check out this article first.
After creating an observation the user can access the "Skill Observation" by selecting "My Tasks," > then locate the "Skill Observation" under the "My Tasks" module.
Once a skill observation has been started the user is prompted to type in a description of what they are observing.
For example, a user could input a link to a call recording to showcase the user's skills.
Not all skills may be observed in each interaction, meaning only some of the skills may need to be rated by the observor.
After choosing the skills to assess, the observer is prompted to leave ratings and any comments if applicable.
Once finished, the observer selects "Submit Assessment" and then chooses if they want to share the assessment with the learner.
How to Share an Observation Assessment
Once finished, the observer selects "Submit Assessment" and then chooses if they want to share the assessment with the learner by selecting "Share Assessment."
If the observer chooses not to share the assessment at the moment, they are able to go back into the team member's page and select "Share Settings," > then check the box to share > and copy the assessment link to share with the learner.
