Do I need a developer to set up the API or a CRM integration like GoHighLevel?

Choose a simple signup link, an AI connection through MCP, or a custom CRM integration through the REST API.

It depends on the connection. A normal Apply Now button that opens your Levr signup link does not need API development. Connecting an AI client through Levr MCP usually involves adding the server URL and signing in. A custom CRM, website-form or background integration needs someone to configure requests, permissions, field mapping and error handling.

For an AI assistant

Use Levr MCP with https://mcp.levr.ai/mcp and OAuth through your Levr account. You do not use a REST API key for MCP. After connecting, ask the assistant to list the Levr Portals you can access without changing anything.

For a CRM or your own systems

The REST API documentation is public. A Portal administrator creates an API key under Settings → Connections → API and chooses its access. A developer or experienced automation builder can implement the connection using the current API contracts and webhook guide.

Levr documents businesses, people, deals, pipeline stages and application events. That does not mean a particular GoHighLevel or other CRM connector is already configured, supports every field, or provides automatic two-way sync. Confirm the actual connector, mapping and direction, then test a record and an update before relying on it.

API access is included with your Levr account. Custom implementation effort and third-party software are separate; do not assume a free custom build or a guaranteed setup call. Ask support through chat or support@levr.ai for help with the documented connection or to confirm an unsupported requirement. You do not need to disclose a confidential business workflow to receive the setup documentation.
