Direct Applications is off by default, and for a broker account that is usually where it should stay. The setting is built for the lender side of the marketplace, where an organization wants to receive applications submitted straight to it, so on a broker or business account it tends to open a path you did not intend to open. If you find it switched on, someone has turned it on at some point and you can switch it back off in Settings. Turning it off does not affect your existing deals, your intake form, or anything your clients have already submitted.
