Either way works, it comes down to how much of the process you want to hold onto. A lot of brokers deliberately leave matchmaking off at the business level and run everything through their own intake form, then do the matchmaking themselves when they create the deal. That keeps you in front of the client and stops them from wandering into lender options on their own. If you would rather the business be able to run matches from their side, you can enable it in your policy settings whenever you like. Switching it on or off has no effect on deals you have already created.
