What do Listed, Claimed, Verified and Certified mean on BBLB?

Understand directory status labels and why a claim is different from verification or certification.

Written by Kaylan Pepin

Read the status on the individual entry and check its linked sources. The directory’s How standing works page defines four levels.

The four labels

  • Listed: the entry was found in public records or a firm’s public business information.

  • Claimed: the firm confirmed the entry using its own domain email and opened a free Levr account so it can add business details.

  • Verified: the directory describes identity and activity checks, including registry status and recent funded-deal evidence. This status is year stamped.

  • Certified: a Secure Broker certificate is on file and linked to the live certificate. The certifier confirms the certification.

A claim does not mean verified

Completing the email claim step does not automatically give a firm Verified or Certified status. A chat answer cannot confer a status. If a label looks wrong, send the profile URL and supporting source to the directory team for review.

Review the evidence

A listing is not a personal recommendation or loan approval. Read the dated registry and certification links, the firm’s information and any missing fields. The directory says payment does not determine standing or buy a higher position.
