What is Low Angle Haze?

Updated this week

Low-angle haze is a visual effect that can appear in high–heat rejection window films, especially those containing particles such as carbon or ceramic.

It shows up as a faint, cloudy look that becomes more noticeable when the sun is low on the horizon.

This occurs due to light scattering—a natural process where small particles in the film alter the direction of incoming light.

When sunlight hits the film at a low angle, the scattering effect becomes more visible, causing the particles to reflect a subtle, pure hue.
