What is Low Angle Haze?
Updated this week

In conditions of high heat rejection, particle window films often suffer from an issue known as low-angle haze.

This manifests as a faintly cloudy appearance, particularly noticeable when the sun is low in the sky.

This phenomenon is a result of light scattering, a process in which small particles and molecules alter the direction of light rays.

When sunlight comes in at a low angle, this scattering effect makes the carbon or ceramic particles in the film emit a distinct, pure hue.
