Export organization data

Choose an export format, control whether secrets are included, and download the completed ZIP.

Start an export

  1. Open Settings → Exports.

  2. Select New export.

  3. Choose the format:

    • Raw data: records grouped by asset type for use in other systems.

    • Operations manual: records grouped by organization, with a PDF for each organization.

  4. Select the organizations to include. Leaving the selection empty includes all account data.

  5. Review Include secrets. It is off by default. Turning it on decrypts passwords and other secure properties into the export.

  6. Select Start export.

Keep Include secrets off unless the recipient needs those values. An export containing decrypted secrets needs the same care as the credentials themselves.

Check progress

The export list shows the type, status, filters, and creation time. Allow the job to finish before downloading it.

If starting another export is temporarily unavailable, follow the availability message shown in the interface. If a job fails, use View Error to inspect the reported phase and error, and share only non-sensitive details with support.

Download the completed export

  1. Find the completed export.

  2. Select its download action to expand the download details.

  3. Use Download ZIP to save the file.

  4. Copy the ZIP password and use it to open the archive.

Download files within 7 days of the export's creation. After that, create a new export if you still need the data.

Keep the ZIP and its password secure, and share the password separately from the file. Review the export's organization selection and contents before passing it to a customer or another team.

If you cannot export

Export actions require the appropriate account permissions. Ask your administrator if the page or creation action is unavailable to you.
