Because of it's nutritional value, hemp protein is now more widely used in food products than ever before. Largely, that's due to its tremendous nutrient profile, which is why we've chosen to include it as one of the five protein sources in our Plant Protein supplement.

Some consumers have questions about the THC content of industrial hemp when it's used as a food ingredient. According to the manufacturer of our hemp protein, the product is derived from the hemp 'cake', the remaining plant matter once the oil has been extracted through a cold-press process.

Every batch of hemp protein is tested by a third party laboratory for the presence of THC, and is guaranteed to never exceed 10 parts per million (ppm). In fact, the majority of batches test closer to just 4 ppm. Even with daily consumption of a hemp product, the manufacturer assures us that these levels are not detectable in a drug screening and will not cause intoxicating effects.
