If your dog or cat has kidney disease, our food would likely not be an appropriate choice. Your veterinarian knows what is best for your pet’s specific needs.
For example, when dog have kidney disease, they must be fed a special veterinary diet. These diets contain more cereal protein than animal protein, smaller amounts of phosphorous, and a unique ratio of vitamins and minerals. Our foods aren't formulated as such, therefore aren't ideal options for dogs or cats with kidney disease.
If your pet has a chronic disease or illness, like kidney disease, we urge to you consult with your vet when choosing a proper diet.
