The only time that moderately high temperature is used (about 200 degrees) is when the whole fish is cooked in order to extract the oil in a crude form.
Afterward, our fish oils are purified using molecular distillation (as opposed to flash distillation), a gentle process done in a vacuum with extremely low heat exposure that removes impurities and saturated fats. No trans fats are produced through our process. What is left is only pure, high-concentration fish oil. Our fish oils consistently receive 5-star ratings for purity and concentration from IFOS, an independent third party laboratory, and we proudly post the test results for each batch on our website.
