It is the policy of Lifeway Christian Resources, through the Office of the Vice President and Executive Associate to the President, to assist upon request in the replacement of literature, furniture, equipment, and other products purchased from Lifeway and lost by a Southern Baptist church as a result of a disaster. The following qualify as a disaster: Tornado, hurricane, or severe storm, earthquake, flooding (including all water damage from any source), fire or explosion (including arson), theft or vandalism.
Normal contact is through the director of missions in the affected disaster area. If multiple areas are affected, contact is through the state church development director. All requests should come through the Office of the Vice President and Executive Associate to the President.
Discounts offered by Lifeway are on product and equipment not covered by insurance. Discounts offered on replacements are as follows:
Dated Church Literature (one quarter) = 100%
Pastor's Library = 100%
Undated Church Literature = 50%
Broadman & Holman books = 50%
Holman Bibles = 50%
Library supplies/offering envelops = 25%
Church furniture, steeples, baptistries = 15%
Choir robes, baptismal garments, Lord's Supper supplies = 30%
