What is broadly graded curriculum?

"Broadly graded" refers to a curriculum which caters to multiple ages of preschoolers, kids, or students. For example: our Bible Studies for Life ongoing curriculum offers a broadly graded curriculum for Grades 3 - 4. This means that curriculum would be effective for both 3rd graders and 4th graders.
