Understanding Leader Packs: Usage, Availability, and Purchasing Options

Leader Packs are essential resources designed to complement Lifeway's curriculum by providing visual aids, handouts, and other materials referenced in the leader guide. Below, we address common questions about their content, format, availability, and purchasing options.

Overview of Leader Packs

Leader Packs are supplementary teaching tools that include visual aids and handouts to enhance the teaching experience. However, they are not standalone resources and must be used alongside the leader guide and student book. Note that leader guides are not included in Leader Packs; they are only available in starter kits.

Format and Availability

Leader Packs are available only as physical products that must be shipped. Digital versions of Leader Packs are not offered. However, leader guides, which are separate from Leader Packs, can be purchased in digital formats. For users who purchase digital leader guides, the content is downloadable and can be printed for use in class.

Purchasing and Sharing Options

Leader Packs can be purchased online through the Lifeway store or by ordering via phone. To find the correct pack, search for your curriculum name and select the appropriate age group and quarter. If you wish to share a Digital Leader's Pack, there are specific options:

  1. Purchase a gift card for the recipient to buy the pack using their own account.

  2. Assist the recipient in purchasing the pack directly through their Lifeway account.

  3. Purchase the pack through your account and request Lifeway to transfer it to the recipient's account by providing their Lifeway.com email address.

Troubleshooting and Technical Support

If you encounter issues with digital downloads, such as files opening in WordPerfect instead of Microsoft Word, this may be due to your computer's default program settings. To resolve this:

  1. Go to your computer's Default Apps settings.

  2. Set Microsoft Word as the default program for opening .doc files.

  3. Alternatively, open Microsoft Word first and then open the file from within the program.

Additional Notes

For users who purchase starter kits with digital add-ons, extra items found in the leader packs may be included on the CD provided in the kit. These items are not available for separate digital purchase.

By understanding the content, format, and purchasing options for Leader Packs, you can make informed decisions to enhance your teaching experience. For further assistance, visit the Lifeway store or contact their support team.
