Before the cruise

  • Download the Royal Caribbean App

  • Create an account using your Booking ID

  • Book any excursions, wi-fi, beverage packages, and add-ons prior to sailing to catch the sales

  • Excursions are often some of the highlights of traveling on a cruise. Here are some tips:

    • Book early if possible. Some will begin to sell out as the cruise gets closer

    • With third party companies, don’t book an excursion that goes right up to the onboard time or starts at the exact time you can get off – leave a buffer.

      • Any Royal Caribbean excursion will make sure you start and get back at the right times.

      • Third party companies are typically well-versed in their operation as well, so don't fret if you need to use one.

Checking In on the Royal Caribbean App (starting 45 days or less before the cruise)

  • You’ll fill in some information and choose a boarding time for the cruise

    • We like to select the earliest boarding time available in order to spend some time exploring the ship before our first session which will be that afternoon!

  • Typically, a couple weeks before the cruise, you will receive a Cruise Ticket document from Royal Caribbean. We suggest reading this carefully as it has important details about your cruise.

Week of the cruise

  • More check-in steps will appear during the week of the cruise on the app

  • Print your luggage tags before you leave home (one for each bag)

    • Consider purchasing cruise luggage tag holders for your suitcase(s)

  • Complete the health questionnaire on the app within 24-48 hours ahead of the cruise

Day of Embarkation and Beyond

  • Watch safety videos on the day of the cruise embarkation

  • Once onboard, immediately go to your muster station (there will be clear instructions)

  • Cabins are usually ready for you to go in around 2:00 pm – they will make an announcement.

    • You'll find your key card next to your cabin door.

  • Your luggage may not arrive at your cabin until later in the evening, so consider:

    • Packing a small bag or backpack with a change of clothes, medication, and other items you might want.

  • Always get back onboard earlier than the final call time.

    • The gangway will go up 30 minutes before the scheduled departure, meaning that is the true time to be back.

  • Stay on ship time. This cruise will have a time change or two, so it is important to stay on ship time. You can find the time on the app and on your stateroom tv.

    • This is also the time we will use for our sessions.

    • Tip: set a wake up call on your phone to wake you up at the right time
