Weโ€™ve taken the stress out of revision by creating pre-made flashcards designed specifically for your course. Whether youโ€™re tackling English Literature texts, poetry anthologies, or English Language exam skills, weโ€™ve got you covered! ๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿ”Ž Where Can I Find the Pre-Made Flashcards?

Once youโ€™ve purchased the flashcard pack for your course, youโ€™ll be able to access them in two ways:

1๏ธโƒฃ Spin the wheel for every character until the end, once the wheel is spun you will have access to your flashcards!

2๏ธโƒฃ On Your Course Page you will find them: A flashcard will appear within each lesson, aligned with that lessonโ€™s key content.

2๏ธโƒฃ On Your Dashboard you will find them: All your flashcards will also be stored here for easy, central access anytime ๐Ÿ“Œ

๐Ÿ“˜ What Do the Flashcards Cover?

๐Ÿ“š GCSE Texts

Each key quote from your set text (featured in our Spin the Wheel activity) has its own flashcard.

Front Side: A prompt and a hint to help you recall the quote.

Back Side: A summary of two high-level techniques, context, and a WOW idea to help you secure top marks in your analysis.

๐Ÿ“œ Poetry

Youโ€™ll get two flashcards per poem in your anthology (thatโ€™s 30 flashcards total for the 15 poems!):

๐Ÿ“– Flashcard 1:

Front Side: A prompt and a hint to help you recall the two key quotes.

Back Side: A summary of two high-level techniques and analysis

๐Ÿ“– Flashcard 2:

Front Side: A prompt

Back Side: Context, form, and comparative links with other poems in the anthology

๐Ÿ“ English Language

These flashcards focus on top tips, structure, and an overview of each exam question.

Ideal for recalling:

๐Ÿ’กHow many marks each question is worth

๐Ÿ’กHow much time to spend on it

๐Ÿ’กThe best structure to follow

๐Ÿ’กKey techniques and reminders to boost your writing and reading skills

This information is not essential to memorise, these are more of a helpful reminder of how much time you should allocate to each question and how you should approach answering each question in our English Language paper!

๐ŸŽฏ How Can I Use These to Revise?

Flashcards are perfect for active recall and spaced repetition, two of the most effective revision techniques. Hereโ€™s how to make the most of them:

โœ… Test yourself using the front side as a prompt

๐Ÿ” Flip the card to check your understanding and add depth to your answer

๐ŸŒŸ Favourite the flashcards you find tricky and return to them more often

๐Ÿ“Š Rate how confident you feel with each card to guide your revision focus

๐Ÿ’ก Mix flashcards from different topics to simulate exam conditions and boost long-term retention

๐ŸŒŸ Youโ€™ve got this!

Every flashcard you flip, every quote you remember, and every analysis you review brings you one step closer to smashing your exams. Keep going , your hard work is paying off! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ“–โœจ
