💡 Breakdown of the New Platform Launch
The new Lightup Hub officially launches on 8th September. You’ll be able to log in as normal, your account and all your progress and your paid membership will carry over automatically. No stress, no reset, just more features and a smoother experience. 😊
We’ve built it to be mobile-first, so it works just like an app straight from your browser. There’s no App Store version just yet, but the experience is designed to feel like one. If you are using a laptop, that is also perfect!

✨ Will my notes and quotes save or carry over ?
You notes will no longer be needed for the upgraded website, so they will not carry over. But never fear! In the new platform you won't even need them. The quotes will not automatically carry over so make a note of the quotes you have been studying for each text as you will get to hand select your top 5 favourite quotes!
✨ Will my notes, quotes and flashcards carry over ?
No, they will not carry over. So if you would like to keep your notes and flashcards write them out for memory recall! You won't even need them with the new site. You will be able to hand select your quotes for each text, so make a note of which quotes you are currently learning. 🤪 We will guide you!
✨ Can I make flashcards on the new site ?
Not at the moment, because you won't even need to! The content is the same but is more condensed! 🥹
✨ Will there be AI essay marking?
Not just yet, but in the next few months!
✨ Will 2026 predictions be included?
Yes, predictions for 2026 will drop later in the academic year. You’ll get notified as soon as they go live.
✨ Is it going to be hard to adapt to the new site?
Not at all. It’s the same but better: simpler, cleaner and faster. We’ll guide you through every step. No stress.
✨ Will the prices change?
Nope! All current memberships stay the same. More value, same cost.
✨ Will this help boost my grade?
It is not a guarantee, but that’s our main mission. Every change is designed to help you learn faster and revise smarter.
✨ Will I lose my progress or my membership and have to start again ?
No, all your account details will carry over! No need to worry. Your paid membership will still be active. You will simply login on 8th September and the new site will be available.
💡 Top Tip
Make a note of your quotes, flashcards and notes that are on the current site. As we won't have a note taking feature with the new site, but don't worry, you won't even need it. 🤪
