We are delighted to announce that from April 6th 2026, we'll be offering Sick Pay to all limber workers, regardless of their earnings on the app.
How does Sick Pay work?
If you are ill, notify us in the app to claim Sick Pay for any shifts you’re unable to attend.
Please note:
You will be withdrawn from all open applications.
You won’t be able to apply for shifts while you are ill. Once you’re better, you can declare yourself fit (from 9 AM the day after your cancellation), and your account will be automatically unfrozen.
You won't be removed from any other upcoming shifts, so you might have to do it manually if you're still unwell.
We monitor all sickness cancellations. If we suspect anyone of abusing the system, your account will be suspended while we investigate.
How is Sick Pay calculated?
We cap sick pay per day at £24.65 or 80% of the value of a shift (whichever is lower). For most shifts, that means sick pay will be £24.65, which is £123.25 divided by 5 (a typical working week).
If you cancel 5 days of shifts in a week for illness, you will receive the government’s maximum amount of sick pay, which is £123.25. If you cancel 3 days of shifts, you’ll receive £73.95, and so on.
Please note that, because you have no contract of employment between shifts, you are not entitled to sick pay on days when you did not have shifts lined up.
How to claim Sick Pay?
Sick pay will be automatically added to your payslip whenever you cancel a shift for illness.
