Workers: What we need from you to verify your right to work on limber.

When you sign up as a worker on limber, we are legally obliged to check that you have the right to work in the UK. If you are a UK or Irish citizen, you may simply use your passport (provided it is in-date and the details are valid) or a combination of documents from List A.

If you’re an EU, EEA, or Swiss citizen, you can no longer use your passport or national identity card to prove you can work in the UK. Instead, you will need to provide evidence of lawful immigration status in the UK.

You can do this by using the online right to work checking service. If you have a UK Visas and Immigration account you should make sure your details are up to date.

You can also use the online right to work checking service if you have a biometric residence permit or card. If you use a Biometric Residence Permit, you must provide photographs of both sides.

If you DO NOT have a UK immigration status that you can share digitally, you should use original documents to prove your right to work. This may be an endorsement, visa or vignette in your current passport.

To help you understand what we can and cannot accept, please refer to annex 2 of this guide to right to work checks. Any documents should be sent to hello@limber.work for processing.

If this applies to you and you need a hand, get in contact with one of our team here at limber HQ and we'll help you through the process.
