The shift chat.

When you're hired onto a shift, you'll gain access to a group chat for that shift. Through this chat, you can message the hirer and other workers on the shift. You can access the shift chat via the 'Messages' tab in the app menu. This is a good time to ask any questions you may have, such as how to find the venue, or whether you can share a lift with other workers.

Be prepared.

Make sure you're prepared: leave enough time to get to your shift, wear the correct uniform etc. Remember that the hirer will give you a rating after the shift - if you're late, they may not give you the full 3 stars! Find out more about ratings here.

Turn up.

The hirer has chosen your application. They're now expecting you to work the shift.

If something comes up that means you can no longer work, however, then you'll need to cancel the shift. Find out how to cancel here.

Cancelling isn't ideal, as it lets the hirer down. The closer to the shift start time you cancel, the harder it is for the hirer to find another worker to cover you. If you cancel within 72 hours of the shift start time, this will count as a late cancellation, and will impact your limber profile. Find out more about this here.

If you don't turn up to the shift, and do not cancel, you will be reported as a 'no show'. No showing is not cool, and we take it seriously at limber, so just don't do it. Read up on our no show policy here.

After the shift.

After your shift, you'll need to submit your timesheet, and make sure you've updated your payment details. Find out more about getting paid for your shift here.
