Overview

The work request history allows requesters to search work requests that they have submitted. From here they can see the status of their work requests and communicate with the team handling the request.

This article will teach you how requesters can access the work requests they've submitted.

(Note: This feature is only available if there is an email field is on the work request form and an email is entered when submitting the request.)

Accessing Your Work Request History

On the same page where you submit work requests, select "Check Work Requests You've Submitted."

Verify Email Address

It is only necessary to verify your email address the first time you do this on a device.

This is a security measure.

You will be prompted to enter your email address.

After you submit your email address, you will be emailed a link.

Open your email and look for a new message with the subject "Check Work Requests."

Select the "Check Work Requests" link.

(Note: emails may be mistakenly sent to your spam or junkmail folder. If you don't receive an email, be sure to check there and move any messages to your inbox to avoid this happening in the future.)

Work requests are divided into two lists: in progress and completed. The In Progress list shows all work requests that are currently open. The Completed list shows all tasks that have been fully completed and closed out.

View and Comment on Your Work Requests

From your list of work requests, click on your desired work request to view more details.

From here you can add additional comments to the task by clicking "Add Comment."

If you add a comment a notification will be sent to whoever is assigned to the task and it will include any text and images that you submit.

(Note: If your maintenance team has the correct settings activated, you will get an email every time a comment is left on the task and an additional email when the task is completed.)
