Working with Video Files

Limble was created with a “mobile-first” philosophy, meaning that the app is designed to run optimally on mobile devices. With that in mind, we limit the maximum file size you can upload to Limble to 50MB. Since most video files easily exceed that size limit, uploading videos directly into the Limble app is not possible.

However, you can still add videos to Limble using the following steps.

PM or WO Templates

Upload your videos to a cloud storage service like Dropbox, Google Drive, SharePoint, or OneDrive.

Right-click to select the “Share” or "Get Link" option from your cloud drive and copy the link to the video.

Add an instruction to your template for the user to watch the video.

Highlight the text and click/tap on the hyperlink icon in the pop-up menu.

Paste your video URL into the hyperlink field, then click OK.

Once you’ve added your video link to Limble, your users can open the video to view it on their devices.

Open Tasks

If you want to add a video to a task you’re working on; you can add a video link to a task comment. Since most mobile devices automatically save videos to the cloud, copy the video link directly from your device’s photos app and paste the link into a task comment.
