Your customers can earn loyalty points in 11 different ways using Line Loyalty Program. These earning activities encourage engagement and repeat purchases — helping you build stronger relationships with your customers.

🧭 Overview

You can create multiple Earn Points Rules by going to Line Loyalty > Loyalty Program to reward customers for completing specific actions, such as signing up, placing orders, celebrating birthdays, or engaging with your brand on social media.


✨ 1. Sign Up

Reward new customers when they create an account on your store.

  • Trigger: Customer creates a Shopify account.

  • Recommended points: 50–200 points.

  • Best for: Encouraging first-time visitors to register and start earning right away.

💡 Tip: You can customize the name of rule and upload your custom icon too.


🛍️ 2. Place an Order

Reward customers every time they make a purchase.

  • Trigger: Customer completes an order in your store.

  • Options: Reward based on total amount spent (e.g., 1 point per $1 spent).
    Earn fixed number of points order (e.g., 200 points per order).

  • Recommended setup: “Spend $1 = 1 point”.

🎯 This is the most effective rule for driving repeat purchases.


🎂 3. Birthday

Celebrate your customers’ special day with bonus points.

  • Trigger: Customer’s birthday (they’ll need to enter their date of birth in the widget).

  • Recommended points: 100–500 points.

  • Timing: Points are automatically awarded on the customer’s birthday.

💡 Tip: Pair this with a birthday email for an even more personalized experience.


📝 4. Post a Review (Judge.me)

Reward customers for posting verified product reviews using the Judge.me app.

  • Trigger: Judge.me confirms a new product review.

  • Integration required: Ensure Judge.me is installed and connected under Line Loyalty > Integrations.

  • Recommended points: 50–150 points.

Reward customers for visiting a specific page or URL — perfect for product launches, blog posts, or announcements.

  • Trigger: Customer clicks and visits a defined link.

  • Example use cases:

    • “Visit our new collection page”

    • “Read our latest blog post”

  • Recommended points: 10–50 points.

Reward customers for liking your official Facebook page.

  • Trigger: Facebook Like verified.

  • Recommended points: 20–50 points.

  • Setup: Add your official Facebook Page URL in the rule settings.


📤 7. Share Link on Facebook

Reward customers when they share your store link or campaign on Facebook.

  • Trigger: Customer shares a link on Facebook.

  • Recommended points: 20–50 points.

  • Setup: Provide the link you want customers to share.

  • Message: Add message that will be displayed with the sharing post.


🐦 8. Follow on X (Twitter)

Encourage customers to follow your brand on X (formerly Twitter).

  • Trigger: Customer follows your X account.

  • Recommended points: 20–50 points.

  • Setup: Add your X profile handle.

Reward customers for sharing a post or link on X.

  • Trigger: Customer shares the provided link on their X profile.

  • Recommended points: 20–50 points.

  • Message: Add message that will be displayed with the sharing post.

  • Setup: Add your TikTok profile link.

  • Recommended points: 20–50 points.

  • Setup: Add your Instagram handle in the settings.


⚙️ How to Add or Edit Earn Rules

  1. In your Shopify admin, open Line Loyalty → Loyalty Program > Way to earn.

  2. Click Add Rule.

  3. Select the activity type (e.g., “Follow on Instagram”).

  4. Set the points value.

  5. (Optional) Add conditions or links where required.

  6. Click Save.


🧠 Best Practices

  • Keep point values balanced — too high can hurt margins, too low reduces motivation.

  • Display your ways to earn rules using Ways to Earn Widget on your homepage or dedicated Loyalty page for customers to easily see the ways to earn.

  • Review analytics monthly to see which activities customers engage with most.
