As your Library grows, you may need to rename tags for clarity, delete unused ones, or merge duplicates. These actions affect all Assets that use those tags.
Only Admins and Content Managers can manage tags in the Library.
Tag management is available to all plans
Renaming a tag
To rename a tag across all Assets that use it:
Open the library
Select Tags
Find the tag you want to rename
Click the menu and select ":Edit tag"
Enter your new tag and save
The tag will be updated on all Assets that had it.
Deleting a tag
To remove a tag entirely from your space:
Open the library
Select Tags
Find the tag you want to delete
Click the menu and select Delete
Confirm the deletion
The tag will be removed from all Assets that had it.
Merging tags
You can combine duplicate or similar easily in the Library. This could be a slight mispelling or different wording for the same concept:
Open the library
Select all those Assets
Add the tag you want to keep
Remove the tag you want to eliminate
Delete the old tag once it's no longer used
