Kits use two levels of organization: Pages divide your Kit into separate views, and Headings subdivide content within those views.
Only Kit Editors can create and organize Pages and Headings.
What are Pages?
Pages function as self-contained views within your Kit. They're like chapters in a book, each containing related content. All content in a Kit must be organized into a Page.
Example Page structures:
A Brand Assets Kit might have Pages for Logos, Icons, Photography, and Documents
A Marketing Materials Kit could have Pages for Social Media, Print, and Email Templates
A Product Resources Kit might include Pages for Product Images, Spec Sheets, and User Guides
What are Headings?
Headings are named dividers within a Page. They create navigable subsections so visitors can jump to specific content.
Headings appear in the Navigator, nested under their Page
Clicking a Heading scrolls to that content
Content below a Heading is grouped with it
Pages vs Headings
Pages | Headings |
Separate views | Dividers within a view |
Navigate between them | Scroll within a Page |
Like chapters | Like subheadings |
When to use each
Use Pages when:
Content represents a distinct category (Logos vs Icons vs Colors)
You want visitors to focus on one topic at a time
Content is substantial enough to warrant its own view
Use Headings when:
You have multiple groups of related content within a Page
Visitors need to jump to specific items
A Page is long enough to benefit from navigation
Skip Headings when:
A Page has just a few Assets
The content doesn't need internal navigation
How many Pages?
You can create as many Pages as you need, but consider how people will find content. If you have many small Pages, consider consolidating them and using Headings to create hierarchy. Alternatively, you might break your Kit into multiple Kits.
