When download requests are enabled for a Kits and Portals, visitors must request permission to download Assets.
If you have set your download requests to require approval, you will need to review and approve or deny each request.
Only Admins and Content Managers can manage Download Requests.
Reviewing requests
When a download request is submitted that requires approval:
A notification will be sent to Space Admin
Go to the Users page
Open the Download Requests tab
Find the pending request
Review the request details:
Who requested it (email)
Which kit or portal the request is for
Which Asset(s)
Any message they included
Click Approve or Deny
Approving requests
When you approve:
The requester receives an email
They can download the requested Asset(s)
The approval may be time-limited
You can revoke an approval at any time to stop further downloads
Denying requests
When you deny:
The requester is notified
You can include a reason (optional)
They can request again if appropriate
