Each Lingo plan includes a set amount of storage for your assets. Here's how storage works and how to manage it.

How storage is calculated

Storage is the total size of all assets in your Library. This includes:

  • All uploaded files (images, videos, documents, etc.)

  • Assets that exist only in the Library

  • Assets used in Kits

Since assets in Kits are references to Library files (not copies), an asset only counts once toward storage, even if it appears in multiple Kits.

Checking your storage usage

View your current storage usage in your Space settings or the Insights dashboard. You'll see:

  • Total storage used

  • Storage limit for your plan

  • Breakdown by file type (if available)

What happens when you approach the limit

As you near your storage limit:

  • You'll receive notifications warning you're running low

  • You can still access and download existing content

Managing storage

Review large files - Videos and high-resolution images use the most storage. Check if you have files that could be optimized or removed.

Remove unused assets - Delete assets in the Library that are no longer needed.

Archive old content - If you have seasonal or outdated assets, consider exporting and removing them.
