As your Library grows, filters become essential for finding what you need. Lingo offers multiple ways to narrow down your Asset view.

Opening the filter panel 5

Click the filter icon in the Library toolbar to expand the filter panel on the left side of the screen. Active filters appear as pills in the toolbar, making it easy to see what's currently applied.

Available filters

File type

Filter by the type of file:

  • Images (PNG, JPG, SVG, etc.)

  • Videos

  • Audio

  • Fonts

  • Documents

  • Design files

  • Colors

Select multiple types to show Assets matching any of them.

Tags

Filter by one or more tags. You can:

  • Select specific tags to include

  • Choose whether Assets must have all selected tags or any of them

Custom fields

If you've set up custom fields, you can filter by their values:

  • Text fields: Filter by exact or partial text match

  • Number fields: Filter by range or specific values

  • Date fields: Filter by date range

  • Single-select fields: Choose one or more options

  • Multi-select fields: Filter by selected options

Date added

Filter Assets by when they were uploaded:

  • Today

  • Last 7 days

  • Last 30 days

  • Custom date range

Uploader

Filter by the team member who uploaded the Asset.

Combining filters

Filters work together to narrow results. For example, you could filter for:

  • PNG files + tagged "brand" + uploaded this month

Each additional filter reduces the results to show only Assets matching all criteria.

Clearing filters

  • Click the X on any filter pill to remove that specific filter

  • Click Clear all to remove all active filters at once

Saving filter combinations

If you frequently use the same filter combination, save it as a Saved View to access it with one click.
