How to create, edit, reorder, and delete Pages and Headings in your Kit.

This article covers the practical how-to for working with Pages and Headings. For an overview of what they are and when to use them, see Organizing Kit Content with Pages and Headings.

Only Kit Editors can manage Pages and Headings.

Creating

Pages: Click Add Page in the Navigator, then enter a name.

Headings: Drag Heading from the Insert Panel onto your canvas, then type a name.

Renaming

Both can be renamed in the kit navigation (right-click → Rename) or by double clicking on the Canvas.

Reordering

Pages: Drag in the Navigator. The first Page becomes the Kit's landing page.

Headings: Two options with different behavior:

  • Navigator — Drag to move the Heading along with all content below it

  • Canvas — Drag to reposition just the Heading among other content blocks

Deleting

Pages: Right click in the Navigator → Delete.

  • Deleting removes all content within it. (Assets still exist in your Library.)

Headings:

  • Deleting from the Canvas removes the heading but leaves all content below it.

  • Deleting from the Navigator removes the heading and all content below it.

Page Separators

Page Separators are visual dividers in the Kit Navigator that help you organize and group your Pages. They look like separators between Pages but are not navigable — you can't click on them or add content to them.

Two variants:

  • Labeled separator — prefix the name with --- followed by text (e.g., ---Brand) to render a small label in the Navigator

  • Plain separator — use --- alone to render a horizontal line with no label

Creating a Page Separator:

  1. Click Add Page in the Navigator

  2. Enter a name starting with --- (e.g., ---Brand Guidelines or just ---)

You can also convert an existing empty Page into a separator by renaming it with the --- prefix (right-click in the Navigator → Rename).

Removing a separator: Right click the separator and select Delete. This will not affect any other sections in the kit.
