As your Asset library grows, managing storage becomes important. Here's how to keep your storage usage under control.

Check your current usage

Regularly review your storage insights to stay ahead of potential issues:

  1. Go to Space settings or the Insights dashboard

  2. Check your current usage percentage

  3. Note the trend—is usage growing quickly?

Strategies to reduce storage

Archive unused Assets

  • Identify Assets that haven't been used recently

  • Archive them to keep your Library clean

  • Archived Assets can be restored if needed

Delete obsolete content

  • Remove Assets that are truly outdated

  • Check for duplicate files

  • Remove failed uploads or test files

Optimize large files

  • Replace oversized images with optimized versions

  • Consider whether you need the highest resolution

  • For videos, check if lower-resolution versions would suffice

Finding large files

Sort your Library by file size to identify the biggest storage consumers:

  1. Go to the Library

  2. Sort or filter by file size

  3. Review the largest files for potential cleanup

When you need more storage

If optimization isn't enough, you can increase your storage limit:

  • Upgrade your plan for more included storage

  • Purchase additional storage as an add-on
