If your Lingo plan is paused, here's what to expect and how to get back on track.

What you can still do

When paused, your Space enters a read-only state:

  • View all your existing content

  • Download assets

  • Access your Library, Kits, and Portals

What's restricted

While paused, you cannot:

  • Upload new assets

  • Create or edit Kits and Portals

  • Add new team members

  • Share new public links

Existing public links and direct links may also stop working.

How to unpause your Space

  1. Go to your Space settings

  2. Select Billing

  3. Resolve the issue that caused the pause (update payment method, upgrade plan, etc.)

  4. Your Space will be restored once the issue is resolved

Data retention

Your content is safe while paused. Lingo retains your data during the pause period, and everything will be restored when you reactivate.

If your Space remains paused for an extended period, we'll contact you before taking any action on your data.

If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 120 days after cancellation. You'll receive a notification before any data is permanently deleted.

After 120 days, your content is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
