If you cancel your Lingo subscription, here's what to expect.

When you cancel your subscription

Your subscription ends at the close of your billing cycle. You can continue to use Lingo in full until that date.

When your billing cycle ends

Your space becomes read only. You will still be able to access your content to download it but you won't be able to add, edit, or share new content.

Shared links stop working. Any public kits, portals, or direct links will no longer be accessible to your audience.

Data retention. Lingo retains your data for a limited period after cancellation. If you reactivate your subscription within this window, your content may still be available.

We will let you know before we delete any of your data to make sure you've had a chance to export what you need.

Reactivating your account

If you change your mind, you can restart your subscription at any time. Your space will pick up right where you left off though you may need to reconfigure a few settings.

Consider before you cancel

Are you using direct links - If you have used direct links to power your emails, websites or any other resources make sure to update those links as they will stop working.

Notify your team - Let collaborators know shared links will stop working

Consider downgrading - A lower-tier plan might meet your needs at reduced cost
