How to display Twitch videos on your Linktree
Updated over a week ago

Video content is one of the most popular and best ways to engage with your audience on a social platform. Twitch is one of the leading platforms for video content and Linktree users can embed a Twitch video, live stream, or chat directly onto their Linktree, with the Twitch Link type.

When the visitor clicks on your Twitch Link, your video, live stream, or chat will open out from the link and play natively, without your visitor navigating away from your Linktree.

💡Tip: On our Pro plan, you can use our Spotlight Link option so that your Twitch video link opens up as soon as a visitor lands on your Linktree.

FAQs

What do visitors see when I'm not streaming?

If you are using the Twitch channel feature that's available on our Pro plan, your channel link will display whether you are live streaming or not. If you aren't streaming, your visitor will have the option to turn on notifications for your channel.

What if my Linktree visitor isn't a Twitch user or isn't logged into Twitch?

If the visitor on your Linktree clicks to interact with your live Twitch chat, they'll need to be logged in to join the conversation. A Twitch login screen will open up. If they need to sign up to Twitch, they can do this from here too.
