This feature makes it easy to link your audience to your social media profiles, showcasing them as icons on your Linktree profile.

How to add social media icons

At the top of the My Linktree page in your Linktree Admin, tap on the social icons.
- 📱 Using your mobile? Tap Edit first.
Tap the + Add Social Icon button.
Search for the social media platform you'd like to add.
Enter your social profile URL or handle.
Hit Add.

Choose to show your icons at the Top or Bottom of your Linktree

To change where your social icons appear on your Linktree, you'll see a Position option below your list of icons. Select either Top or Bottom of your profile.

Changing the order of your links

You can also change the order of your social media icons to display your most engaged platforms first.

Steps to reorder:

Select the six dots on the left-hand side of each icon.
Drag and move them into your preferred order.

Tips for adding your social media icons

Each social media icon needs to be added as a URL or handle. Here’s how to add some of your social media profiles as icons.

💡 Tip: Use the 🔍 Search field when adding an icon to quickly find your preferred social platform.

Snapchat	Copy your Snapchat URL and add it to the Snapchat URL field. (Example: `https://www.snapchat.com/add/yourusername`)
Email	Type in your email address. (Example: `email@example.com`)
Phone number	Type in your phone number including area code (Example: `+1234567890`) 📝 Note: You'll need to enter the full phone number including the '+' symbol and country code.
Personal Website	Type in the URL of your website (Example: `https://www.yourwebsite.com`)
Instagram	Enter your Instagram handle. (Example: `@instagramusername`) 📝 Note: You'll need to add the '@' symbol before entering your Instagram handle.
TikTok	Enter your TikTok username. (Example: `@tiktokusername`) 📝 Note: You'll need to add the '@' symbol before entering your TikTok username.
X (formerly Twitter)	Enter your X handle. (Example: `@MyTwitterhandle`) 📝 Note: You'll need to add the '@' symbol before entering your X handle.
Threads	Enter your Threads handle. (Example: `@threadsusername`) 📝 Note: You'll need to add the '@' symbol before entering your Threads handle.
YouTube	Copy your YouTube channel URL and add it to the YouTube URL section. (Example: `https://youtube.com/channel/youtubechannelurl`)
Facebook	Copy your Facebook profile URL and add it to the Facebook Page URL section. (Example: `https://facebook.com/facebookpageurl`)
LinkedIn	Copy your LinkedIn profile URL and add it to the LinkedIn URL section. (Example: `https://linkedin.com/in/username`)
Spotify	Copy your Spotify artist or album URL and add it to the Spotify URL section. (Example: `https://open.spotify.com/artist/artistname`)
Soundcloud	Copy your Soundcloud URL and add it to the Soundcloud URL section. (Example: `https://soundcloud.com/username`)
Apple Music	Copy your Apple Music artist or album URL and add it to the Apple Music URL section. (Example: `https://music.apple.com/us/artist/artistname`)
Apple Podcast	Copy your Apple Podcast URL and add it to the Apple Podcast URL section. (Example: `https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yourpodcast/123456789`)
WhatsApp	Enter your phone number including the international format into the WhatsApp section. (Example: `+00000000000`)
WhatsApp Channel	Enter the URL of your WhatsApp Channel. (Example: `https://www.whatsapp.com/channel/yourchannel`)
Twitch	Enter your Twitch URL in the Twitch URL section. (Example: `https://twitch.tv/yourtwitch`)
Discord	Add your Discord invite URL in the Discord URL section. (Example: `https://discord.com/invite/yourchannel`)
