SMS marketing has risen astronomically in the last few years and is now one of the most popular forms of marketing among innovative brands. Linktree wants to encourage this form of engagement with your visitors as much as possible, so we have created an SMS Signup Link for you to do just that.
The SMS Signup Link works a lot like our Email Signup Link. Your visitors can enter their phone number on your Linktree, and on submission, it'll automatically update to your synced Google Spreadsheet.
💡Tip: You can check how many visitors have signed up to receive SMS texts from you via your SMS Signup Link in the Analytics section of your Admin.
Steps:
In your Linktree Admin, navigate to the Settings tab.
Find the Mailing List Integrations section to find the SMS Signup option.
Toggle on the SMS Signup option.
Add your Button Text, which will be the text that displays on your link.
Add a Success Message, which will be the message that visitors are shown after they successfully submit their phone numbers.
Select Authorize Google Sheets and sign in to your preferred Google account.

Paste your Google Sheet URL in the available field.
🔔 Note: You'll need to paste the Google Sheet URL for the link to be live on your Linktree.

Adding your Terms and Conditions (optional)
As an optional step, you can add a link to your Terms and Conditions so your visitor is aware when they are signing up for your SMS newsletter. To add your Terms and Conditions:
Turn on the toggle next to the Custom T&Cs section.
Add a label name for your T&Cs.
Add the URL to your Terms and Conditions in the T&Cs URL field.
