Go to Linktree

Our Google Analytics integration allows you to track your Linktree events in your Google Analytics account. All you need to do is add your Google Analytics Tracking ID and we will do the rest.

🔔 Note: The Google Analytics integration doesn't support Google Analytics 4. It only supports Universal Analytics. However, we're aware that Google is requiring all users to use Google Analytics 4 and we are working to update this feature to align with GA4. Our support agents don't have a date for when this change will occur for this integration. Please check back to this article for any updates.

How do I add my Tracking ID?

Before you find your Tracking ID, you must create a Google Analytics Property to generate your unique Tracking ID. Once you've created your Property, you can find your Tracking ID and add it to your Linktree Admin by following the steps below:

🔔 Note: This feature hasn’t reached the Linktree App just yet, but you can still add a Google Tracking ID in your web browser by following the steps below.

  1. Log in to your Google Analytics account.

  2. Select Admin located on the left-hand menu.

  3. Select your account from the drop-down options in the Account column.

  4. Select your Property from the drop-down options in the Property column.

  5. Under the Property column choose Tracking Info.

  6. Select Tracking Code from the options.

  7. Your Tracking ID is displayed at the top of the page.

  8. Copy your Tracking ID.

  9. Log in to your Linktree Admin

  10. Go to the Settings tab and find the Analytics.

  11. Paste your Tracking ID in the Google field.

Once you've added your Google Analytics ID in your Admin, you'll be able to see the data in Google Analytics under your Realtime reports Overview. Your Linktree data will be found in the Top Active Pages section.

🔔 Note: Wait at least 5 minutes for the data to appear in your Top Active Pages.
