How to display Video Links on your Linktree

We understand that video content is one of the most popular and best ways to engage with your audience on a social platform. So we've given our users the ability to display a video straight onto their Linktree.

We can display Youtube, Vimeo, TikTok, Twitch, and Facebook videos.

💡Tip: This article caters to show how to add a YouTube or Facebook video on your Linktree. If you wish to display Twitch videos and live streams, read more here. Alternatively, if you want to add a TikTok video, read more here.

Steps:


  1. In your Linktree Admin, hit the + Add link button.

  2. Select View all to see our Link Apps and find the Video option under the Share your content section.

    💡 Tip: You can also click Add to Linktree from the Linktree Marketplace.

  3. Give your link a Title.

  4. Paste a video URL in the URL field.

  5. A new video thumbnail will appear below your video URL.

  6. Select the option Display this video on my Linktree to display the video. If you want to link straight off to your video, you can select Link off to (video) website.

💡Tip: On our Starter plan, you can use our Spotlight Link option so that your video link opens up as soon as a visitor lands on your Linktree.

On our Pro plan, you'll see additional options where you can select to Display this channel's latest video on my Linktree.

How do I capture subscribers from video channel links


  1. In your Linktree Admin, follow steps 1 - 3 from the above to create the video link.

  2. Paste a YouTube channel URL in the URL field.

  3. A new video thumbnail will appear below your channel URL.

  4. Select the Link off to YouTube website option.

  5. In the Link off options, check-off Ask visitors to subscribe.

🔔 Note: This URL must be your Youtube channel for the option to appear.
