We understand that video content is one of the most popular and best ways to engage with your audience on a social platform. With YouTube being the leading platform for video content, we have given our users the ability to display a video straight onto their Linktree.
We can display Youtube, Vimeo, TikTok, and Facebook videos.

How do I use Video Links?

  1. Log in to your Linktree Admin

  2. Click 'Add New Link' and give your Link a 'Title'

  3. Paste a video URL in the URL field.

  4. A new video thumbnail will appear below your video URL.

  5. Select the option 'Display this video on my Linktree' to display the video. If you want to link straight off to your video, you can select Link off to (video) website'.

This is a PRO feature

On our PRO subscription, you will see additional options where you are able to select to display the latest video on your Linktree.

How to capture subscribers from your video channel links (Free & PRO)

  1. Log in to your Linktree Admin

  2. Click 'Add New Link' and give your Link a 'Title'

  3. Paste a YouTube channel URL in the URL field.

  4. A new video thumbnail will appear below your channel URL

  5. Select the 'Link off to YouTube website' option

  6. In the Link off options, check off 'Ask visitors to subscribe'

Please Note: This URL must be your Youtube channel for the option to appear

In addition to displaying YouTube links, you can also display Twitch videos and live streams. You can read more about the type of Twitch links you can use by reading this support article here.

How to use Twitch links

  1. Click 'Add New Link' and paste a Twitch video URL in the URL field

  2. A prompt will appear with the following options:

    • Link off to Twitch website

    • Display video on my Linktree

  3. Once you choose your preferred option and have given the link a title, it will appear on your Linktree as an active link and the video will display when clicked.

To display a Twitch channel on your Linktree, follow these instructions:

  1. Click 'Add New Link' and paste a Twitch channel URL in the URL field

  2. A prompt will appear with the following options:

    • Link off to Twitch website

    • Display my Twitch channel

    • Display my Twitch chat

    • Display both my Twitch channel and chat

  3. Once you choose your preferred option and have given the link a title, it will appear on your Linktree as an active link and the video will display when clicked.
