The verified badge is a blue tick next to your name or logo on your Linktree. It builds trust and supports stronger engagement with your visitors by showing them your profile meets our predefined criteria for verification. These criteria confirm your legitimate and consistent presence across major social media platforms shown on your Linktree.
📝 Note: A verified badge does not mean Linktree endorses a profile or anything linked from it. It also does not affect how a profile is ranked or discovered on Linktree.
How to apply for verification
🧪 Beta feature: This feature is currently in development and isn't available to all Linkers just yet. We're working hard to roll it out to everyone soon.
To apply for a verified badge, you’ll need:
A paid subscription (Starter, Pro, or Premium)
A profile image on your Linktree
At least one connected social account: Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube
📝 Note: If you connect YouTube, your account must be set up with a channel
Steps:
You’ll find Design in the Links tab of My Linktree.
Select Get verified and follow the prompts.
When asked, connect your Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube account (if you have not already).
Submit your application.
Review process and tips
As part of our review, Linktree checks that your Linktree profile matches your identity on the social account(s) you connect.
Most applications are processed immediately.
Some reviews may take longer to complete.
💡 Tip: Your odds of approval are higher if your Linktree URL is in the bio of every social profile you connect.
Maintaining your verified badge
To help protect your identity as a verified Linker, some profile changes require you to disable verification first.
Once you’re verified, you can’t do the following while the badge is active:
change your profile image
change your title
change your username
disconnect all of your social integrations
If you try to make any of these changes, you’ll be prompted to disable your verified badge first. After you finish updating your profile, you can re-apply for verification.
📝 Note: As a verified Linker, when you add Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube as social icons, you’re required to connect those profiles as social integrations.
Linktree may temporarily or permanently revoke a verified badge if a profile no longer meets verification requirements, or if it violates our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or other published terms or policies.
